Civil Engineering procedures "Italian language Genio Civile"is a term which refers to a government office or office responsible for the management and supervision of civil engineering activities in a given territory. The term is mainly used in Italy, where the Genio Civile is an organizational structure present at a provincial or regional level.

The main responsibilities of the Civil Engineers include the planning, design, construction and maintenance of public infrastructure, such as roads, bridges, railways, dams, ports and other public works. Furthermore, the Civil Engineers is responsible for the management of water resources, civil protection and housing construction.
